General Information:
Captivating Alla Turca, or The Turkish Melody, is an entertaining take on Turkish tradition set in the centre of Glasgow. Mellow woods and sleek glass tables keep things contemporary in the restaurant, while the traditional saz player plays atmospheric folk tunes that add to the romantic, intimate mood. Food is a similar mix of the old and the innovative, from classic and 'wild' vegetarian mezes and traditional barbecues to chicken casserole with apricots and plums in kajin sauce. There is dancing at the weekends and a private basement dining room for up to 40 guests.
