The first London outpost for this successful South African chain, CTFM lives up to its vibrant surroundings in the heart of the West End with a bustling yet informal ambience. Seafood is the star of the restaurant menu, which offers sushi dishes on the revolving conveyor belt alongside favourites such as steak sandwiches, teppanyaki, sizzling fishy platters and surf 'n' turf. Décor is fittingly nautical, including bubbling fish tanks, bright blue lighting, a wet fish counter and even a mannequin sporting a sou'wester. There is a well-chosen South African wine list.
