Montrose restaurant has been founded by a group of food and wine professionals and enthusiasts to fill the gap in the West Kent market for a truly independent fine dine, fine wine restaurant offering a unique boutique dining experience. Located in Southborough, Kent, it has easy access from Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

In true fine dine and fine wine style, we specialise in local seasonal produce prepared in a modern European style and complemented perfectly by our superb wine list.
Montrose offers a complete and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience in a superb setting with attentive service, so you can relax and enjoy your lunch or dinner.

Sited in a late Victorian building of character and charm, everything about the restaurant is different and exciting. It provides the opportunity to experience a high quality dining experience in intimate surroundings which have been refurbished in a contemporary Victorian style.

We have a 8-16 person private dining room which is available for lunches, dinners or receptions and provides the perfect location for a family gathering, celebration or even a leisurely business meeting.

At Montrose we want to help you taste, enjoy and learn about fine and rare wines by offering a unique variety (mainly French) of properly aged, ready for drinking, fine and rare wines at affordable prices. Many of these wines will also be available by the glass, giving you the ideal opportunity to experience a range of the finest wines before, during and after your meal. A big bonus for wine buffs and the curious.

Our wine list will be regularly changed and updated, from our extensive wine cellar, and with selective buying, to provide different choices and price ranges of mature wines for your enjoyment. Too many fine wines are offered and drunk far too early in their development, never giving them time to reach any sort of maturity and often, therefore, proving a huge disappointment and expensive waste to their expectant purchasers.

We have a wine to suite everyone's pallet and carefully select quality affordable house wines which change on a regular basis.
